Make it Easier: Executive Function
23 practical tools for the days when you know what you need to do, but your brain’s making it much harder than it needs to be.
For starting, planning, time, memory, overwhelm, changing plans and the days your brain simply says absolutely not.
£39, one-off. Instant access.
You’ve already worked out where things are getting stuck.
Now you can go straight to the part of the toolkit designed for that friction, choose one tool, and make the next step easier.
No course, no catching up, and no working through everything in order.
Done the check-in? This is the next bit.
Running your business shouldn’t require perfect executive function
You know what needs doing, but can’t start.
A half-hour task somehow eats two hours.
The plan made perfect sense on Monday and is completely irrelevant by Thursday.
You lose the thread after an interruption.
Your brain’s too loud to work out what actually needs your attention.
Those moments don’t need another lecture about discipline. They need a way to work out what’s making this particular thing hard, and what would make it easier.
Running a business already asks you to plan, prioritise, remember, switch, estimate time and make decisions.
Add real life on top: kids, caring for a loved one, chronic illness, neurodivergence, bad sleep, a difficult client, a week that’s completely gone off-script… yeah, everything is obviously going in the bin.
We have to stop asking ourselves: “How do I get better at pushing through?”
And instead, ask yourself: “What could stop requiring so much from me?”
That’s the idea behind Make it Easier.
What it helps with
The toolkit is organised around seven common points of friction.
I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO
For when everything feels urgent and you’ve spent 20 minutes deciding what to do first.
I KNOW WHAT TO DO, BUT I CAN’T START
Work out what’s blocking the start, then shrink the first step until it’s doable.
EVERYTHING TAKES LONGER THAN IT SHOULD
For the “quick job” that ate your afternoon. See where your time goes, and plan for the week you’ve really got.
I KEEP FORGETTING THINGS
Get it out of your head and somewhere you’ll find it again, including where you’d got to before the interruption.
THE PLAN HAS GONE TO SHIT
Change the plan without writing off the whole week.
MY BRAIN IS TOO LOUD
Sort what feels urgent from what needs doing today.
I HAVE A BIG THING I WANT TO DO
Turn the big plan into something this week can move forward, even a 40% week.
How it works
First of all, this isn’t a course, there are no modules, no schedule and no giant setup.
Definitely no enormous Notion dashboard you need to spend three hours building before you can become A More Organised Person™.
You use it like this:
1. Notice what’s making things hard.
Starting? Time? Memory? Planning? Loud brain? A plan that’s gone to shit?
2. Go to the section that fits.
You don’t need to diagnose your entire personality. Just pick the problem in front of you.
3. Use one tool.
Not six, not “while I’m here, I should probably reorganise my whole business.” Just one.
4. Get on with your life.
The toolkit isn’t meant to become another thing to manage. Open it, use one tool, close it, get on with your day.
Built for the day you actually have
Some days you’ve got loads.
Some days you’ve got 40%.
And some days, even 40% feels optimistic.
The toolkit helps you change the size of the task, remove decisions, adjust the plan, leave yourself enough context to come back, or decide something doesn’t need to happen today.
Because your business shouldn’t only work for the imaginary version of you who’s rested, focused and completely uninterrupted by life.
“I already have
400 resources I haven’t used.”
That’s fair.
This isn’t something you’re supposed to sit down and diligently work through. Please don’t!
Can’t start? Open that section.
Plan gone sideways? Open that one.
Can’t think straight? There’s your tool.
You don’t have to make time for it. You open it when something’s already eating your time.
Why I made it
I built this toolkit with chronic illness, ADHD and a young baby, so I know what a 40% day looks like.
Some days I got an hour of work done in ten-minute windows, in between feeds and naps and whatever my body had planned. I didn't need another system to keep up with. I needed one tool I could open, use and close before the baby woke up.
So that's what I built, and I used it myself while I was making it. It's also why the tools work the way they do.
As an ICF-accredited coach and business strategist, I built them from the same coaching questions I ask clients when something keeps getting stuck.
